Founder's Note

A Note from Michele

Every business I’ve built has been shaped by the same belief: the best relationships begin with understanding.

That belief has guided me for more than three decades. While the industries I’ve worked in have changed, the way I’ve approached people has not.

I’ve never believed the best work begins with a solution. I believe it begins with listening — asking thoughtful questions, paying attention, and taking the time to understand what someone is truly trying to accomplish and why it matters to them.

Before I can recommend a path forward, I want to understand what is driving the need, what is at stake if they get it wrong, and what success would look like for them. When you take the time to understand that first, the path forward becomes far more thoughtful — and far more effective.

Early in my career, I learned that people are rarely looking for just the obvious answer. More often, they are trying to solve a problem, support a team, move something important forward, or make sure momentum is not lost. That perspective shaped the way I served clients, built teams, and grew businesses. Over time, it became more than a professional philosophy. It became the foundation for how I lead. That same mindset is what ultimately shaped ClinSearch.

My connection to clinical development is also deeply personal. Watching my father battle pancreatic cancer gave me a profound appreciation for the role clinical research plays in creating hope for patients and families searching for better treatment options. When I had the opportunity to bring my consulting experience into a field with that kind of human impact, I knew it was exactly where I wanted to be.

Over the years, I’ve also learned that trust is earned one conversation at a time. It comes from listening carefully, being honest, following through on your commitments, and genuinely caring about the people you serve. Those values have shaped how I lead, and they continue to shape ClinSearch today.

My hope is that when people think of ClinSearch, they think of a trusted partner — one that takes the time to understand their goals, respects the weight of the work they’re doing, and offers guidance rooted in care, honesty, and integrity. And if they leave with one impression of me, I hope it’s this: someone who listens first, tells the truth, and works hard to understand what matters most before offering a recommendation. If that becomes part of the ClinSearch legacy, I’ll consider that a success.
